Scope: Full main-floor renovation with a focus on reconfiguring a dated 1980s layout.
Objective: Open up the kitchen and living areas to create a more modern, livable space that better supports day-to-day life and entertaining.
Julia and Mark had spent years imagining what their home could be but struggled to find a contractor who shared their vision. Their priority wasn’t just cosmetic upgrades, but a layout transformation that would finally feel right.
Project Outcome
From the start, Julia and Mark weren’t just looking for a renovation. They wanted a partner. Their 1980s layout had potential, but it didn’t suit the way they lived. We saw that right away.
We sat down together, walked through the space, and started imagining what it could become. We opened up the main floor, brought in more natural light, and created a better flow between the kitchen and living area.
What used to feel closed-off and outdated now feels open, warm, and connected. It’s no longer just a house with a new kitchen. It’s a home that finally works for them.
“We’d been dreaming about opening up our 1980s layout for years, but couldn’t find the right contractor. Steven and CAS felt like a design partner from the start. Now we have a kitchen and living space that finally matches how we live.”
