Fairview Home Renovation
Scope: Complete interior renovation including a full kitchen update, new custom feature wall, bathroom upgrades, flooring, lighting improvements, and general modernization throughout the home.
Objective: Refresh an older Shaughnessy/Fairview home with brighter finishes, improved functionality, and a more cohesive design. The focus was on practical upgrades, better lighting, and a clean, modern look across the main living areas.
Project Outcome
The home on Fir Street had a solid layout but was dated in terms of finishes and lighting. The kitchen felt closed in, the bathrooms needed full updates, and the main living area lacked a focal point. The goal was to modernize the entire interior while keeping the design simple, clean, and functional.
We focused on durable materials, bright neutral colours, and upgrades that would make day-to-day use easier while giving the home a fresh, consistent look.
“We’re really happy with the transformation. CAS updated every part of the home and the difference is huge. The finishes are clean and the quality is solid across the board. A smooth process from start to finish.”

Custom TV Feature Wall
The living room was updated with a new custom TV feature wall that replaces the older setup entirely. The design includes a floating media cabinet, modern floating shelves, integrated cable management, and a clean black-and-grey palette. This creates a simple focal point that anchors the room and ties in well with the rest of the home’s updated finishes.
Kitchen Renovation
The kitchen was fully modernized to improve both storage and workflow. New white shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, modern hardware, and an updated backsplash were installed, along with improved lighting and pot lights. The appliance layout was reorganized to make better use of the space. The result is a brighter and more functional kitchen that connects naturally with the dining and living areas. The lighter finishes also help carry natural light across the main floor.
Bathroom Upgrades
This bathroom was fully rebuilt to replace an older tub-and-curtain setup with a cleaner, more functional layout. The new design features a walk-in glass shower with a built-in bench, a recessed wall niche for storage, and large-format textured tiles that brighten the space. A linear drain, upgraded fixtures, and new lighting complete the update. The result is a modern, low-maintenance bathroom that feels more open and far more practical for everyday use.
